Travel stop fuel canopy lit at dusk with trucks fueling

We build fuel stations.

Petrolean is a commercial general contractor built around one kind of project: travel stops, fuel systems, and convenience stores — from dirt work to grand opening, under one contract.

One contractor, whole site.

A fuel station isn't a building with pumps out front. It's earthwork, tank fields, fuel piping, canopies, concrete, utilities, and a store — sequenced tight enough to hit an opening date. Most general contractors sub the fuel scope out and hope the schedule holds.

We don't. Fuel-side and building-side run under the same superintendent, on the same schedule, answering to the same office. When the canopy steel lands, the tank slab is cured and the conduit is already in the ground.

Scope of work

Organized the way we bid it
Crews screeding a fresh concrete slab pour on a commercial site
Steel fuel canopy structure being erected by crane
Aerial view of excavators grading a large construction site

Fuel is the hardest scope on site.
It's our specialty.

Petrolean handles the full range of commercial construction — but travel stops and fuel sites are where we've made our name. Our crews and subs have stood on this exact kind of site before: same tank fields, same canopy erections, same inspectors. That repetition shows up where owners feel it — cleaner bids, fewer change orders, and opening dates that hold.

We keep the sub bench tight and the paperwork tighter. Every trade on our sites carries current insurance and knows how we run a job before they mobilize.

Dirt to open

Every project runs the same proven sequence. You'll know where your site stands at every step — not just at draw time.

Step 1

Preconstruction

Budgets, constructability review, permits, and a schedule built backward from your opening date.

Step 2

Sitework & fuel

Grading, utilities, tank field, product piping, and slabs sequenced under one superintendent.

Step 3

Vertical & canopy

Canopy steel, store shell, finishes, and dispensers set while site paving closes out around them.

Step 4

Test & turnover

Tank and line testing, inspections, brand punch, and a clean handoff ready for first fuel drop.

Trusted by national travel stop brands and regional fuel retailers.
